Default Subject

I was just checking out other peoples' blogs, when I saw my blog being followed by Krista and it said my last update was 2 months ago! I've been meaning to update, knowing that its been a while, but SEEING it really hit home! Whenever I think about updating tho, I convince myself I have nothing to write about. So I'll write about the one thing I always have to talk about... GARRETT! I realized that the 2 things I've always feared worst about having kids, has happened to me. 1: before I had Garrett, I heard horror stories about kids pooping in their diaper then taking it off in the crib and having a great time with the 'finger paint' ...then it happened to me. I must admit, it was partly my fault, and I did learn my lesson: NEVER PUT A ONE AND A HALF (OR OLDER) CHILD TO BED WITHOUT PANTS! Luckily, I heard him saying "EW" and "YUCKY" so I checked on him before it got too out of control, if that's possible. That was not a fun afternoon for me... lots of disinfectant to say the least! 2: I have always hated it when the only word a child knows how to say is "NO". Again, its partly our fault because at this time of year, there are a lot of decorations that Garrett isn't allowed to touch, so he's been hearing the word a lot, but he says no for EVERYTHING! I hate it! How do you stop that?!?
